< Voices of Two Worlds >

Voices of Two Worlds reconstructs the artist’s studio desk as a space where everyday life and distant violence coexist. Books, drawings, photographs, protest materials, and personal belongings surround an iPad displaying a custom Instagram account containing more than one hundred videos. Footage from Gaza appears alongside personal memories, cultural imagery, protest documentation, and ordinary moments from life in South Korea, presented in a random sequence that reflects the unstable rhythm of algorithmic scrolling.

Headphones isolate the viewer within this digital environment, transforming scrolling into a private act of witnessing. By bringing the digital feed into the physical studio, the installation explores distance, mediated presence, emotional exhaustion, and the tension between witnessing suffering and continuing everyday life.
